About

A two-part exhibition by Moon-Yong Shin, and abstract painter who draws most of his inspirations from nature. The work of Moon-Yong Shin has been extensively exhibited in Korea and Japan, and only recently has he gained fame in the West. The first part of his displayfeatures his newest works:interpretations, in oils and acrylic, of woodland and forest scenes, inspired by the artist’s current visit to the United States. This display will be immediately followed by a showing of Moon-Yong Shin’s “wave” paintings—the artist’s interpretations of seascapes, painted in oils over the course of more than a decade.
