Marianne R. Petit writes: “In January 1998 I was visiting my niece and nephews in England. We told stories and read books together and I came home inspired. I got some watercolor paper and pencils and started drawing out the characters and stories. By that summer I decided it would be fun to put them on the web and animate them. And so, Merpy.com was born.”
